Set in the heart of a spacious park in Moergestel, the Zonnewende Conference Centre provides a peaceful and inspiring environment ideal for learning and connection.

 

Travel Directions

From Eindhoven Airport:

  • By Bus: Take Bus 20 towards Best Station and get off at the Best, Kapelweg stop. Transfer to Bus 141 towards Tilburg and exit at the Moergestel, Zonnewende stop. Estimated journey time is 55 minutes.

  • By Taxi: Taxis are readily available at Eindhoven Airport, and the journey to Zonnewende Conference Centre takes approximately 25–30 minutes.

From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport:

  • By Train: Take a train to Tilburg (requires a transfer). From Tilburg Station, take Bus 141 towards Best and exit at the Moergestel, Zonnewende stop. Estimated journey time is 2 hours.

  • By Taxi: Taxis are available at Schiphol Airport. The taxi ride to Zonnewende Conference Centre takes around 1.5–2 hours, depending on traffic. This option is expensive.

Details of Accommodation

Earliest Arrival Time: Please arrive no earlier than 4:00 PM on the first day of the course. We kindly ask that participants do not arrive a day early or stay beyond the course dates, as accommodations are only available during the program.

Activity Start Time: Courses typically begin at 8:00 pm. Exact start times will be confirmed upon booking.

Meals Provided: Refreshments will be available at the start of the activity at 9:15 pm. Meals are not provided upon arrival; however, there are dining options nearby. The Jumbo supermarket in the village is within a 10-minute walk and is open Monday to Saturday until 8:00 pm and on Sunday until 6:00 pm.

Room Information

All rooms are individual with en-suite bathrooms. Towels and bed linen are provided and a limited number of hairdryers is available.  At the end of the course, we kindly ask participants to make up the beds with clean sheets before departure.

What to Bring

Please come prepared for changing weather, as Dutch summers can range from rainy and cool to very hot. We recommend checking the local forecast before your trip to help you pack accordingly. Here are a few essentials:

  • Clothing: It is helpful to bring a mix of clothing for various temperatures, including long-sleeve shirts, a sweater, and closed-toe shoes. A light jacket or raincoat is also advisable.

  • Recreational Gear: The area has a tennis court and nearby swimming spots, so feel free to bring sportswear or swimwear If you would like to enjoy these amenities.

Note: Participants are not required to assist with cleaning during the course.

  • Course Fee: €85 per night, or €40 per night for students. The total price for each course will be specified in the booking confirmation.
